LONG
Long Time Sun

Yogi Bhajan wanted westerners to appreciate their own music and culture and so it came to be that we sing the "Long Time Sun" at the end of each class. It was a somber reminder of the 60s and the sacrifices that many had made at this time. This is in the spirit of giving back. Returning the fruit of our labors back to God is one of the cornerstones of yoga. Perfect the breath and then give it to Infinity. We establish a conscious relationship with the infinite self in this way.
